The PTI offers a range of CPD for school leaders. The School Leadership Programme is built from a national network of school leaders seeking to make the greatest impact within their schools.
Members of the Programme develop school leadership approaches and practical solutions aimed at supporting effective teaching and learning.
The Programme is completed through an action-based research project and is designed so members can take inspiration from headteachers facing similar challenges.
Members of the School Leadership Programme embark on an action-based research project. The PTI Mark is awarded to recognise progress and commitment to the development of whole-school leadership. The aims of the Programme are to:
• Develop challenging and rigorous teaching and enrich learning
• Promote the recruitment, development and retention of passionate and knowledgeable teachers
• Enhance and develop the reach and impact of curriculum-based leadership
• Share the outcomes of action-based research
• Encourage and facilitate collaboration across and within schools, and with universities and professional bodies
